"I hope to evoke the strength of nature, its tender qualities, its variety and its capacity for regeneration. I also want to allow the viewer to recall their childhood memories of nature and to let them reexperience its lush exuberance, to allow them to remember plants now almost never seen, like the cowslip, and to recall childhood games: the daisy chain and the dandelion clock. These images portray the movement of the eye from focused to the unfocused, from reality to an unknown dimension beyond."
