Gina Glover was born in London, England. She trained in Fine Art at Chelsea School of Art, later obtaining a photography degree at the University of Westminster. She is a co-founder and Director of the Photofusion Photography Centre, London and a freelance photographic artist and lecturer.   

Gina makes site specific artwork for hospitals and lectures on themes such as 'Creativity, Photography and the Mind'. In 2004 she was interviewed for the British Sound Archives of the British Library. She was winner of the Medical Research Council/Novartis/Daily Telegraph Visions of Science Award in 2003 and 2004 for her pictures ‘Chromosomal Stripy Socks’ (2003) and ‘Portrait of Portraits’ - a picture of a dialysis patient (2004). These photographs were created during her artist-in-residency in the Genetics Department at Guy’s Hospital, London and in Northwick Park Hospital, London. 

At present Gina is artist in residence in the Assisted Conception Unit of Guy’s Hospital. This work is planned to open in 0ctober 2008. Her exhibition ‘Last Days’ of the Radcliffe Infirmary Oxford will open soon in the West Wing of the Radcliff Hospital, Oxford. She will be starting a new series of Artworks for the new build of North Middlesex hospital, London in the autumn. 

She recently received a research and development Arts Council UK award for her video and exhibition project, ‘Site: Transition’ relating to a secret Second World War airbase in Northamptonshire. 

Exhibitions in 2007/8 include: Celebrating Women, Hooper’s Gallery London and Coast, IPG Gallery, Battle; Light Fantastic, Alfred East Gallery, Kettering.   

Photofusion picture library distributes her social documentary photography, and Millennium and Corbis distribute her art photography. Her fine art prints are distributed by Keith Cavanagh, London; De Santos Gallery, Houston, USA; Wanted Paris, Paris; and Le Bleu du Ciel, Lyon, France.
